Pray for Las Vegas
First, it was the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in Oklahoma City…
Then, it was Columbine, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in Denver…
Then it was the Twin Towers, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in New York…
Then it was Virginia Tech, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in Blacksburg, Virginia
Then it was Sandy Hook, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in Connecticut…
Then it was Charleston, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in South Carolina…
Then it was Paris, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in France…
Then it was the Pulse Nightclub, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in Orlando…
Then it was London, but it wasn’t me, I don’t live in England…
Then it was Las Vegas, but it wasn’t…
oh wait a second…
Then it was Las Vegas, and then it WAS me,
I live in Las Vegas…

  1. Amen. The same goes for us. We will be praying for all those families that were touched with this senseless, horrific event. Also for our leaders to fo something about access to these kind of guns that have nothing to do with hunting and our personal defense. Thanks to our first responders whose quick action saved countless lives. Our city will recover as we all come together which is currently being demonstrated.

  2. I like the simplicity of this; I fear that eventually no matter where we live it will be all of us affected in some way by the newest “deadliest attack in modern American history.”

  3. I am so glad to know you are all ok I tried to find your email last night and couldn’t find it I was out of town. Praise God for you and yours.
    Love in Christ
    Diane
