Lent Day 10 – “I know where I’m going.”

My mom (Judith Curtner Dendy) decided last night to stop her chemotherapy treatments.

Lots of tears ensued.
She looked straight at me and my sister Mary Jo and said, “I’m going to be okay. I know where I’m going.”

Revelation 21 describes where my Mom is going…

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. And he (Jesus) who was seated on the throne said, Behold, I am making all things new.” (Revelation 21: 4-5)
Grace and peace,
Laugh often and Fear not!
David!

  2. Oh, David. I wish I could just hug all of you. Even when we are assured of where we are going it’s so hard to go and so hard for those of us remaining to let go. I pray, though I already know, that God walks each step with you. You are in my heart and prayers always.

  3. David-
You’ve all been in our prayers….and we will redouble them now. Blessed Assurance, a great hymn and a powerful testament to our faith.
Hugs to you all as we travel this path together.
