I went to the bank today and while standing in line I noticed an elderly lady seemed to be having trouble with her checkbook.
I stepped out of line to see if she needed some assistance.

Her face lit up when I reached out.
With bright eyes she looked up at me and asked, “Can you check my balance?”
“Absolutely”, I responded!
And with that, I pushed her over!

A good friend of mine, knowing I am a Presbyterian Pastor asked me one time:
“Hey David! What do you get when you cross a Jehovah Witness with a Presbyterian?”

I looked at him strangely…
“I don’t know. What?”

Wait for it….

“Someone who knocks on your door and has nothing to say!”
