“And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” (Luke 2: 12)
Recently I ran into a family practicing the strangest Christmas tradition I have ever heard.
Christmas presents surround their Christmas tree.
Christmas day arrives.
The gifts are passed around to each family member.
Here’s the kicker…
They never unwrap the gifts…
Jesus came “wrapped” in swaddling cloths.
The choice is yours –
Leave Jesus wrapped or unwrap the Messiah, the glory of God and let the wild and joyous journey begin of living a life “unwrapped!”
