4SoulCare – Soul Care for Nomads
You have arrived to the ever growing and accepting community of “4SoulCare – Soul Care for Nomads”.
I love this definition … Nomad:
A member of a people who have no fixed residence but move from place to place usually seasonally and within a well-defined territory; an individual who roams about.
If you find yourself to be a believer, a follower, a disciple, an interested party, a curious “stalker” of the person of Jesus and yet find yourself with “no fixed residence” to explore further the matters of the Christian Faith (a well-defined territory)…
• If you find yourself “roaming about”…
• If you desire healing after having been hurt in the Church
• If you long for community after having been kicked out of the Church
• If you wish to trust again after having been victimized in the Church
• If you cannot wait to get plugged in after feeling somewhat “disconnected” from your Church
• If you want to soar after having been shamed by the Christian Community because you do not have a “Church home”
Then…
This is the place for you.
A place of grace and acceptance to learn, explore, question, grow, share and commit to a group of fellow “nomads” to grow in our faith along the journey of this trek we call “LIFE”!
Welcome! I am thrilled you have arrived for a brief moment in time before you get back out on the trail!
David Dendy is my name and after having been ordained as a Presbyterian Pastor for the last thirty-two years I am keenly aware of my many friends who feel and are presently “spiritual nomads.” Belief is not the issue as much as getting connected and enjoying the amazing benefits of community of faith life as well as growing in their faith development.
4SoulCare is designed to meet the growing population of “Nomads” by building community, exploring matters of faith, biblical studies, supporting one another through prayer and physically coming together for retreat, respite, renewal and recreation!
Fellow Nomad, I would love for you to be a part of this great community!
